Wait till the end of the set to make that claim. I can easily run Dictatorship and float around the top ten throughout the set. If I wanted to be a grabbing casher I would have been Dictatorship.... However I was attempting all explore where Republic has the best explore returns....

Issue resolved. I renounce claims of #11 being a hack player. After some country to country conversations I now know the leader of the country and have no hard feelings towards them. In all honesty we are pretty friendly towards eachother most the time. I just was victim to an unfortunate event....

Hopeful my luck will get better and next time he feels the need to fluff on someone's yard he will walk past mine :-P

I play Express with the goal to finish with the highest NW I can. Thus the games ranking system by NW. I get it, you don't like to net, you think it's a waste of time. It does not give you the right to screw over someone who does though. And thus your hard on against GDI.

There are people who can hit any one, any time. You can not defend against them. All you can do is be less attractive than the other targets. That goes for the big commies too, all of them were targets for at least three jetters last night but none of them were prime targets. There use to be a code of honor between countries who sit at the top. Anyone who is top 25 hitting within the top 25 is just being a fluff. There is other land to be gained without the potential of screwing someone over minding their own business.

There should be no such "code of honor". Each player should play to maximize their outcome. That is honorable.
Perhaps this misnamed "code of honor" explains the deficiencies in the spy rules.

Mountain Yeti is right, Express is much better without bots. With no bots around, the top 25 became the targets we always should have been.

Yep, beerdrinker, I had two a$$holes to plug this set. Some others had business to address with them, too, so those two are out of commission. Every time I want to all-x with an experimental strategy or government that I have never played, someone fluffs with me. One of these, I am quite sure although he changed his name, has been a carryover for the last three weeks where I was in the hospital and only had one day to play, and still beat his ass.

These piss ants that do not know how to play won't fluff with me when I am playing an aggressive game, which usually places me in the top 10, if not top 5. Nor do they play the same name each week as many of us do. They fluff with ppl, then change their name next set and fluff again. fluffing with ppl and ruining the set is their game as they do not have the skill to compete for the win or the desire to seek it.

It seems that there are more ppl who play for the fun of ruining other people's chances to win, experiment, etc, than who are serious about improving their skills and being more competitive. This game's community is a great snapshot of the world community where people find pleasure in fluffing with others just for the hell of it and find pleasure in it.

Someone will say, "It's just a game," or "You take it too seriously," or "There is always next week." To that I say, fluff you. Some ppl only have time to play this server, and they are serious enough that they want to win, have asked questions of other winners, and tried different strategies. And if you think there is always next week, then you aren't mature enough to realize that we may not see tomorrow, let alone next week.

Should I find that these are ppl that I have considered friends over the years, and eventually it will be revealed, I will be greatly disappointed.

Hiding behind a new name, new country, just more of what I was stating. There are only a few with character left on this server. As it gets worse, the number of countries playing will continue to shrink as nerrus pointed out in another thread. When I started playing express, there were 125 easily every week and bots were not in the conversation.

I love the game, but not the direction in which it is headed. Again, a snapshot of RL's societies.

Since when is 7m turrets with 130% wep tech considered not running appropriate defense? I actually consider that higher end defense at the state of the set when I was hit....

I had 8.5 M Turrets and he topfed me too. I retalled and got back about 80% of the land counting my ghost acres. The mil NW loss was the bad thing. He lost probably 5+ mil NW topfeeding all of the top 10 countries.
