That defense and coaching won those games. Russle isn't exactly an elite passer. Great game manager though.

Next closest was Randall Cunningham, followed by Michael Vick. I refuse to even include Donovan McNabb in that list because for the whole 9 years he played for the Eagles, he only hit the receiver in stride 3 times. All the rest, they were picking it up off their shoes, or having to jump for it, thus allowing them to be creamed by the defense.

Doug Williams could have been great if he had the right team around him for a career, IMO. Well that, and bailing from the NFL for the USFL. That didn't help matters.

Doug Williams definitely showed great potential.
