The mods don't have the tools to effectively moderate this kind of stuff. Sadly I'm noticing a similiar pattern for the other servers as well.

I'm pretty sure that any good below a certain price is automatically bought by the server, so nobody should be benefiting from this.

No Zorp- a player did exploit this. And the person this set wasn't Dancing Bear-- I'm just posting this to show you that oil sells as low as $13 on public.

but i did want to get this posted for commentary and to encourage others to experiment and ponder

that was before standing orders, orders trigger as goods hit on market and game autobuy happens at the same time.

You can only buy as low the auto feature. Not to say that it isnt abused time to time. But what feature of this game hasnt been abused and still is? I can think of plenty.

Players have been deleted when caught. Even retroactively. Stopping all forms of collusion on a solo server will never happen. Hell, last i knew ford runs a land farm. Thats complete server co-operation as long as you dont get greedy.

Our team won it's war against a wartag that has been around for several sets.
Defended against suiciders.
3 of 5 players never played on TEAM before.
2 of 5 players never warred on EE before.
1st time working as group ever
Survived the full set even with other clans using negative spy ops on us while we were at war.
All 5 players in different time zones: UK, Australia, East Coast, West Coast, ????

You sit in a clan that has all the elite players and you're instructing me on how to build a TEAM. Plzzzz.

we had planned many sets on team but was the absence of mods to prevent coordination and enforce a simple rule about outside interference in a war to keeping the play fair we decided until then we would not play again as a team.

#66 had a 10m jump after a 5 mill sell off of military units

every other commie indy has had a steady drop in nw from selling units to a steady increase of growth nothing close to that one though.

This is a problem which qzjul has been negligent about. The oil autobuy price is ineffectively low, leaving oil transfers open to huge abuse. qzjul has refused to adjust this. It is very easy to cheat via oil transfer. thanks to iZarcon for going through the market history at one point and finding the source of oil market abuse in the past.

probably guessing the SO's are put out at start as most do who dont' even know if it will happen or not helping whoever is actually planning it hide better, then the one supplying would just randomly drop it on market at a discussed price prior to set start for the buyer. So guessing when is very hard. Still think the fix is you can't sell lower then private market base sell price, so even if you are a demo and can sell bushel at 35 (yes this would mean minimum price on public you could buy is 35) you could not dump to market lower then that same with oil max think someone said was 72 with demo.

This should only be implemented on express server as it's the only server where oil exist on PM.
