This story turns my stomach. I am no vegetarian by any means, but trophy hunting is despicable.

Someone should host an isis safari hunt. Byo rifle or get outfitted for an extra charge. Sky would be the limit. Helicopter rides and tanks. Even make it legal to make a head mount as a trophy. I would put elk antlers on mine or make a sweet teralope.

Hunting for trophies doesn't appeal to me either. If you're going to participate in the great circle of life, you should eat what you hunt.

If your ego is so small that you need an animal's head as a trophy, you're pretty small in my book.
I don't need anger management, people need to stop pissing me off!

I eat everything I kill except the coyotes racoon etc... And as for going for trophy animals its a challenge any yahoo can walk out in the woods and kill a yearling deer or bear if you have a small idea of what you are doing but that big buck has been around for a few seasons he's smart makes the hunt alot more fun and he still tastes good.... No one trophy hunts and just throws the meat away if they don't like the meat there are programs to donate to food shelfs... The anti hunting crowd just says that fluff to make us look bad

No what would be fair is to only have a knife or spear and the prey in an open area.
You want to hunt? Go for it.
That would be sport

driving to the grocery store is more dangerous than going bow hunting. thus, driving to the grocery store is more sporty than bow hunting.

that's exactly what it is. quoteth by wikipedia:

first sentence:

Hunting is the practice of killing or trapping any animal, or pursuing it with the intent of doing so.

a little later on:

Hunting can also be a means of pest control.

hunting is sport/recreational and is regulated, pest prevention is needed and generally unregulated.

there is a difference, despite your pro status internet research.

KO has the right idea. Quail are yummy and Pheasant too> And I go hunting all the time and trap me a little fawn and pull out my blue steel and drive it into her over and over again. And usually I am requested to return later and do it some more. They like that kinda thing you know. Great White Hunter!

I'm not understanding what point you're trying to make here.

Whether wild or domesticated, they're all animals. One probably lived in a feed lot all of its life, the other lived free right up to the moment I fired at it from 10 yards away and somehow inexplicably missed. (The result of my first ever time getting drawn for a bull elk tag last year)

But even if I hadn't been shaking like I had Parkinson's and had killed my bull, how is that any worse than the fate of the cow that lives inside a fence for a couple years, and is then killed to become your burger?

Because I don't cry over an animal who gives a fluff lol people care about a stupid lion who cares if he shot it to out it on the wall and nothing else that lion was old and probably would have died a violent death at the hands of a younger male. So why the fuss over one lion hell someone gets murdered and no body makes this big of a fuss
