As Buttman said- you have to played delayed. Farmer is perhaps one of the hardest strats to win with on EXPRESS. ( well excluding oiler )

If you're looking to make 30+mil net every set, then just go Commie, it's super easy.

Get your CS to 200-220.
Keep your military relevitively high to avoid retals.
PS as many as you can per 2hrs.
Avoid using turns except for LGing.
Get around 125% Bus/Res
Keep around 130% indy tech until end, then buy up the cheap stuff.
Play delayed as much as possible.
