Preemptive strike? CC looked like war since day 1 of the set. Guessing both sides read the tea leaves.

I will say this, I only know of CC getting caught with their pants down once and losing the war and I was on the winning side. Probably one of my proudest moments since I came back to the game.

Now, I know what you are thinking, IMP & Subby always get caught with the pants down... well yeah, I don't wear any pants!

Anyways, GL to both sides and good hunting tonight.

Imma go back to self farming, at least I never login to 'Create 16 new countries' mid set anymore!

CC wanted a war this set and the only appropriately sized targets were Chaos, TKO and ICD, though ICD/TKO looked in no state to war. A week into the set, we noticed Chaos looking to be a war stance gov't wise, so we targeted today for our FS. I informed chaos of our plans two days ago to give them a chance to store turns and get their countries a bit prepped fo war.

No ill will on either side...lets have some fun!

i was going to buy troops up today too....oh well.

it is only over because chaos desperately needs a war leader who knows what they are doing.

choice of FS targets was laughable. you had complete suprise with the timing and you killed one of our most inactive strings.... lol

you waste missiles by using them on poor targets and not using them for readiness

you dont change targets when they wall, even though you REALLY need to efficiently use turns because you are in a hole already

it is really just a mess over there. you know CC hasnt held a single chat? we are all just solo killing mostly. but i suppose we are all hitting the attach button instead of the explore button, so there is that. i just thought chaos was going to but a bit more effort into it.

The best time to hit CC is probably the moment you get full on stored turns right after protection ends - and even then, the highlights, stonewalling, and overall activity brings one's chances down to "poor".

Waiting until those tyrannies are done teching will consistently yield the same result.

With NBK on hiatus and ICD historically playing footsie with CC leadership, it would take at least 2 other tags to give them a good showing.

Donny, I was able to get a kill in Greece, on the Island of Mykonos, from my iPad. It was pretty boss, also, very slow. But yes, our activity went down the tube and my 10 days in Europe didn't help.

This is the first set that I am pretty much just focused on netting, but I still couldn't help myself getting a bit of troops/sdi. Old habits die hard.

I think the OOP war versus CC would yield okay results, but the reality is the outcome would be decided by building up untags before tagging, etc, which turns into a dirty/messy war for all sides with police/fa, etc.

Reality is, until the CC core is broken up, I can't see them losing, just too good at it.

mdevol, for some of us, the war never seems to happen when it would be ideal, instead, it is always at the worst time.

Sure we targeted inactive strings for the FS, better then getting stonewalled every target, like currently. All most all of you live on your computer it seems. We keep hitting online countries because it seems that all there is. Killing them is the slight bit of enjoyment we can salvage from this war.

Ohh not to mention we once again had our hand forced. We did not start the set out with intentions to war this early or even at all really, we get suicides, we have war govs. We knew we are a mess right now. Lots of people with lots of personal issues. Lots of noobies building not very productive countries. And like 2 people half ass picking targets. Both of which are extremely busy in real life....

But keep trash talking ford, maybe one day I'll be a cripple and can devote 90% of my life to this game and maybe be half as good as you.....

Like I said. Chaos needs a leader worth a fluff that is capable of leading. You apparently arnt it regardless of the excuses you make.

If you want to get all mad and personal, then that is your choice. Just make sure that hole you dig is comfortable.

Chaos needs activity... it seems after the FS the wheels fall off and they get disinterested, dont even know if that is a word to use.

xninja had it right. Donny had just posted 9 mins before our fs, so no hitting his or billy string... if he is even play I dont know. Can't tap Mr. Fords string as he is always online thanks to technology. That left us with the lower string and the one guy in CC who was playing without sdi for some odd reason... think you might need to take them back to the slave chamber and teach them to get SDI... We will also be sending some members over who dont know what SDI is.
