a few in the t10 almost got suicided this set, but food prices were too good for me to be butthurt over a few extra grabs.

not sure if a couple of you think i dont notice the couple grabs here and there but i do :)

suicide watch might be back soon, but even then, it isnt the over farming that gets me the most. it is the nubishness whit which most of this server grabs with. even if i am a 100 jet PS, you need to send more than 100 jets. Ghost acre returns are based off units sent. sent more units and you get more land. You farming me for fluffty returns goes against the entire reason for a landfarm. that will be a suicidable offence from now on.

Way to go Vic! Nice retals Stanley. I was lucky in the last 4 minutes selling turrets. Its a good thing because I wasted $1.5b buying bushels from my PM instead of tanks, duh. What a waste of 20% of my wealth. Then i was lucky buying out the bushel market and selling 40M bushels at $59. But I could have sold 70m bushels if I hadn't sold 30m bushels for $35 on my PM and bought 5m back at $303! I could have got almost any amount for those 70m bushels on the public market.

Oh well, none of it would have been possible anyway if it wasn't for all the bot targets.

Congrats, Vic, nice win, and congrats to everyone else in the top 10. It seems the addition of bots has raised the bar for top 10 finishes and, certainly, for top 5's.

I did not play this set, but hoping to next one. Well, I did log in and see someone had hit my country 6 times, so I killed him. It took all weekend since my country was not developed and had no resources; had to use cash button to restore readiness since no spies or missiles; which was a waste of a lot of turns. One hit, I can live with, but will retaliate at my convenience, which means a country may take a couple of hundred acres; I may get a grand on my late retal. (Vic taught me that lesson when I first began playing!) DT+ is not good. I would say most of us feel that way.

I failed a spyop on a guy and he attacked me a few minutes later.

Later I spied him again (and failed) so he attacked me again.

I was celebrating my birthday this weekend and figured I wouldn't have time to play, so i decided to kill him.

THEN on Sunday, I logged back in and found a country with $3.8b on hand, and close to 0 military/spies. It is also the same country that a couple weeks ago stocked for a couple days and then hit me with a 14m jet PS with only a few hours remaining in the set. So this week I finally got my revenge. (I could have flattened him when the hit occurred, but I was on my way to a personal best $33m finish that week)

I grabbed/stole about $1b from him, I was going to do more but the game wouldn't let me because of end of set GDI rules. Fortunately he retaliated which allowed me to dump 12 missiles on him.

First set after so so many years was fun to get back into it. Had a good start but missed calculated early game and a little different game style in a express format which I've never played so got to about 13k acres and pulled the pin. Was in a bad way. Hopefully will be more of a challenge to the top contenders eris round!!
