This is why I usually, in fun but also seriousness, start a "Come on, commies," or "Come on, farmer," etc, thread for the strat I'm playing.

While demand is eventually satisfied and prices drop, the initial pricing threshold is set by those producing the stuff. Yet, some will be quick to cave and start giving their stuff away as soon as the gates open on Tuesday night (Wed for some, I know).
