I admit that tekniques seemed to take it well. But I also bet that next time he runs across this situation he plays it differently.

I'm fine being a buffoon if it means being a proven top 10 finisher in this game, and teaching players proper grabbing etiquette. Sure I had 0 defense, but I also had 200 turns on hand, as a Casher. A really good player never hits a country that can retal, especially that easily. Ask any of the top finishers.

now listen up and listen good. people will farm other players in this game. they have since the dawn of this game and they will until jared loughner rises from the grave and brings the end times. running zero defense will get you farmed. it will. all the parking lots and forum posts in the world won't save your zero def country from becoming farmland. you know what would save it? some freakin defense. im a god-tier player and i farm zero def countries all the time. i dont give a fluff. if they had a problem with that, they should have bought some defense. world star

look at #75 for "sort of" how to deal with farmers.. unfortunately he's logged on and i won't be around to finish the kill, but at least he will have a hard time recovering from that.

I always appreciate the God Almighty ones that think it is their duty, their obligation, to teach people that they should play a certain way, have x-number defense (while they themselves will lack tanks or troops; it will be one or the other), etc.

Plug this into your system and pay attention.....

When this set ends, make a note of some names in the top 10-12; many will play the same name next week. As the next set evolves, you may match their rank to a certain point in the set. You may even rank in the top 10 for awhile, but then you will begin to see a gap in networth as the guys that finished ahead of you the previous week set the stage to finish ahead of you again this week. Most will have kicked somebody's ass, or defended an attempted ass kicking, and still finish ahead of you. Why you may ask? Because they know what they are fluffing doing.

So, if you are playing not to win, keep it up. If you want to learn to play, pay attention to these people that you think are being careless. They have a land goal in mind and manage their expenses.

What you do not want to happen is to have your ass whipped in battle and in networth. Or at least one who plays with pride would not want that. But those who play with pride do everything they can to learn how to win.

And, no, I have not won a set, nor do I finish in the top 10 every week, but I also do not make foolish decisions and comments.

I saw easy land, I thought I had a chance to keep him down but he retaliated very quickly before I was ready and cost me hundreds of turns.
