if only we could recruit our entire EE core back from real life.

a few vets have come back with the change in leadership and one very active old timer getting some ingame friends and a few newer players to give us a go.

Be nice to get them all trained up and keen to stay around with us for a few years :)

How have you folks gotten RL friends to join? Perhaps I'm a terrible salesman but over the last 10 years I've gotten one friend to create a country and he ran maybe 400 turns and abandoned it, and it's not from a lack of trying.

Still, great to see you guys getting new blood into the game!

In all my times playing earth i got 5 people to play from RL friends and family. To this day one of the 5 still plays off and on :-)

My young cousin joined up over xmas and had a little go on express ... I don't think he kept playing. I have a couple of friends I could possibly try but none that I think would hang around... I think there was about 6 guys in high school playing when I started but I think they were all gone inside a month lol
