Ive been thinking about a "king of the hill" server.

The top guy gets turns at a slower rate while the bottom guys get them faster. Get more turns and stock as a small guy? Or get huge land and n/w farming the small guys...its an idea.

Or the other way around...big guy gets more turns and gets his ass handed to him by all the small guys.

Idk what do yall think?

my idea of king of the hill, if you comb the suggestion board, was for a last man standing server.

so you have to change your name to weird ass mechanic that can't be programmed in realistically .

there was a while back a server call last man standing in global. cool part was when you killed someone you got all his assets. and once you are dead could not come back in,and 24 hours after server started it was locked no new players.Was a real fun game. Also had turns very fast like 30 a hour I think

ffa was locked with no new countries for a while, made for an interesting server

although it was also 60k with some having hundreds each or handing out logins

last time was when mehul decided to get rid off ffa so after a month (?) players couldn't create new countries, wasn't that interesting since fsing side got major advantage.

no it was because of server load he started locking new country creation after a week or whatever

so people started rushing to create countries early

"king of the hill" should get bonus, not penalty. Because evryone will be look for 2-10 place (not big difference) and jump right before end of reset.

But as for idea - i like the idea, KOTH server would be fun to play.

currently team has 82 countries and 70 of those are oop and 62 countries are above 1m nw.

This isn't a server bashing thread...but if a server *did* have to go, i'd pick a solo server, since its being replaced with a solo game-type. Maybe they could alternate sets?

OR...make KOTH a 5 man team and the team gets bonuses from having a guy in the #1 spot...(no FA allowed)idk...theres ALOT that could be done with it...ive seen a few good ideas from other ppl
