Can anyone give me a quick run down of how this works now?

im going to share what i found, not that i think its a big secret, but more so that everyone (at least everyone who reads the forum) is on an even playing field. I am guilty of farming bots, but i've found that its a boring way to play (but seemingly necessary if you want to compete for the win, which i still can't do)

bots generally have 0 spies, 0 turns on hand ,disproportionate amounts of troops/tanks compared with their turrets/jets, no attack/retal history.. towards the end of the week, they will have lots of cash on hand. Country names are obviously spit out from a word generator.

apparently they will eventually be programmed to retal, but as of last week they do not.

Just curious, qzjul, but will bot changes be announced before they are implemented, or will we be surprised when they start retaliating on us in the middle of a set?

There is a wildcard however, if I see bots being farmed hard and the perpetrators aren't in GDI, I'll pay them a visit ;-)

but on a serious note I like the fact that the names confuse people and they mistakenly landgrab me more than once, it gives me a chance to sharpen my AB skillz
