that's a silly thing to give up on a set over: his break was a SS and for jack worth of acres. if you're having a good set either: a) ignore it, or, maybe more to your liking, b) farm the twerp later and see what he does... instead of just jumping straight to ABs and blowing all those turns on em. he's doing 2x SS retals, he's obviously a chump... prob could've waited until later and farmed him up the ass

Actually, I made that grab very shortly after doing my intel but it seems that right at that moment, you had logged on and got extra military from the turns you used.

Anyways, this is my 2nd set after returning to Earth Empires since Earth 2025 a number of years ago so I have some learning to do on what's appropriate and what's not.

Take it easy on the rage messages, not good for blood pressure ;)

There are a few changes Tangster - the most welcome of which is that the cheats are gone.

With reduced numbers the markets are volatile.

Alliance (1a as was) is very different - clans have ossified a bit and land grabbing is out of fashion having been replaced by land trading.

The coding has also been tweaked quite a bit - not enough to change the basics of the game but enough to give you a surprise from time to time. Top feeding for example does NOT produce the best yields; equalising networth now gives the highest return plus (to a lesser extent) oversending (which increases ghost acres). There is also now a real Mehul factor, you must add 10% to the break to take out an intentional random factor.

An interesting experiment is the introduction of bots, the main idea being to increase the supply of land.

I have been loving it since I returned and maybe you will too. Some things, of course, don't change as you can see from this thread and those messages. :)
