It's common because bottomfeeders get butt hurt when retalled. If he's threatening to war you it's because he knows you can hit him again and potentially set his set back big time. Or he's a n00b.

yeah i was gonna hit him anyway and if he breaks gdi, level the guy while boosting defense so he couldnt farm me...i told him i dont mind having a war set now and again...i'll take my retal and go about my business as usual

also, i've never threatened a guy over retalling me, its stupid...if i bottomfeed, thats a chance i take on getting hit back hard. the rule i follow is dont bottomfeed.
