What are the unspoken rules that most people follow on earth?

stick to 1 grab unless you want to get troops tanks and lots of sdi.
if you join gdi, and only make 1 grab on an opponent, they will only be allowed to grab you back. no harmful attacks.
you 'broke' gdi which enabled him to gs you .

It's a risk you take when you break gdi. The more you play you'll be able to pick out who not to grab based on each players unique style of play/personality. H20, Superfly, Celphi are a few off the top of my head you will come to know if you continue to double tap in that manner.

I thought GDI doesn't allow attacks anyways if it were in effect. The wiki doesn't really state clearly what GDI exactly does. Some questions off the top of my head:

1) doesn't allow countries to be attacked half or twice in size. Land or NW? When I attacked you you were about 1000 acres larger than me but with less NW but certainly not in the half or twice ranges.

2) I see a lot of people double tapping. Isn't that normal?

3) Allowed to grab once? This is the unspoken rule right, not the actual GDI.

Yea i like warring ^_^ Gdi protects you from special attacks: Abs Brs GS and Missiles, unless you attack a country more than once. If you do that you leave yourself open, sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't. Usually doesn't on this server.

Im not sure what the size restrictions are on this server, i usually bottom feed countries 1/4 my size but on tourney server gdi kicks in at half your size if im not mistaken.

GDI is different on solo servers than it is on clan servers. Might be where some of your confusion is comming from.

Yep. Get GDI, and try not to leave your country with less than 400 acres.
