For a pure netting country yes it does. Setting these countries up is extremely fickle. When you are attempting to finish with as much nw as possible even to get 75% sdi coverage would have cost 15-20m ending NW and likely that elusive top spot.

Maybe juice and maybe there FA's would of talked about it but, responding with missiles in this way is a quick way to see an entire tag dead.

well, the Laf Country did way overretal according to their policy. I agree, FAs should have been brought in before this all escalated like it did, but when you farm a country, you can't be surprised when they suicide on you.

yes juice but, when an alliance is 3 to 4 times your size and well established versus brand new it does make a difference to.

Also, I haven't looked but, was it a topfeed or not because that changed the retail policy. Also, this was clearly a baiting method by the method (with it being on AT and all) that in self can be considered an act of war by some alliances. But, not in laf so, its not my job to comment.

The DH probably would of nulled it but, not always about the topfeed.

Personally I think this entire thread is a bait and a disgrace. Even if the tag deserved it by going to AT and starting a smear campaign is just asking for trouble.

I don't like double standards. If you have a policy posted, you should follow it, no matter what the size of the other side is. If you don't want to follow the policy, don't post it.

As for the whole topfeed thing...well, that for the two clans to decide upon. If they both agree to the definition of a topfeed, then there is no problem and the matter should have been handled by the FRs before the retals were taken, just to make sure that both sides were in agreement and a suicide would not happen.

Obviously, both sides were not in agreement, and we see the result. Granted, the LaF country lost a lot with the landgrab, but he clearly lost a lot more with all the missiles. I also have doubts that the rest of LaF will want to go to war to destroy stones, since that will ruin the set for the whole clan.

yeah juice your right about the want to go to war especially this late but, this causes war next sets and stuff. My point is FR's should of been involved and if to individuals just want to go at it thats part of the game to.

juice u posted this ^ the grab was a clear topfeed so how do u figure its outside LaF policy, thats clearly why the policy was written that way to leave the way topfeeds are handled open-ended and not subject to a cookie-cutter result since a topfeed at this stage isn't really the same thing as a topfeed 15days into the set

just about any top feed this dumb is going to get an extended retal window and 200% land:land or equal reps

the rest of the hits STONES will have to make good on, so deezy didnt do anything good for his clan by trying to screw someone else over, selfish really... oh well theres always 1 idiot

My sympathies lie with the topfeeder. Grabbing fat countries may be out of fashion but it is one of the principal pleasures of the game.

because, to me, it makes it seem that a defense held stops the retals.

More importantly, this whole thread is mostly pointless,, since the FRs did discuss and agree.
