Wow...its been almost 15 yrs since i've come to this place. It makes me smile to see that the game is still going despite all the attempts by Mehul to screw over players. Doesn't look like much has changed over the years.

Awesome! Cheats were ALWAYS a huge problem as you remember. It 'll be nice to give the game a run after all of these years :D

i started in grade eight (born may 86), then got a home computer and joined seawolf.. id say grade nine..

Welcome back. Plenty has changed.

The coding has been tinkered with but the basics of the game remain as they were. Smaller numbers means a somewhat more volatile market. MB re-selling is not viable. Co-operative play outlawed on the solo servers. On Alliance (1a as was) the game is now played differently. Land trading is very much in vogue and traditional land grabbing very much out of fashion.

You have returned in time to see the start of a potentially very big change with the introduction of bots. They introduce more land and are intended eventually to interreact with human players in everything except diplomacy. Who knows, maybe they'll get them selves organised in a bot clan. :)

For now they are experimental.

wow some good memories there! LOL yes i was once a head in LaF, did some time in Rival and SoF :D Man those were the days! I used to live and breathe this game LOL

just for your reference - i retired in 2004, i think right around when you did finally? maybe you did in '03? then i came back somewhere in 2012 and played for another year and a half.
just a few days ago I came back to say hi after a hiatus of over a year.
so it's pretty cool to see you pop in the same week!

Wow im def not good at this game any longer LOL just hit turn 99 and im not even worth 50k LOL Do any old starts still work or have the equations been changed enough that it all has changed?

most colors are gone after certain fiasco but they might lurk around using their other nicks etc.

lemon chiffon died some years ago.

you should have over 50k nw on turn 99 unless you do pure farmer start up. production is tied to population today so low pop low prod and expenses are nasty aka bit too much land and your tax income is lower etc.
