I've just added a handful of NPC's/bots into FFA; they are currently pretty dumb, but will play casher/farmer/techer/indy and interact with the market, more or less.

Let me know if you notice, or if this affects the server in any way. Long term goal is to have *intelligent* bots, but gotta start somewhere ;)

Finally did the signature thing.

mmkay. Interested in how it all works out. I thing I would think that would be important is to make it hard to differentiate between bots and human players. With only a few NPCs the impact will be minimal, but changing things in small increments is always good in my opinion.

yeah, I think it'd be interesting to have a reveal at the end of set which ones were bot-run, but I don't think we can know in the meanwhile, which I assume is your plan since you didn't tell us which ones they are.

He needs to make or get a name generator, I had one for youth players in the ESMS league I ran, made things easier when I created players for the draft during off-season.

One thing I am noticing about the bots is incredible number of small purchases they make, espeically on the tech market, there was no end of items like this...

Easier to monitor and if needed kill a string of suicider countries that are solo tagged than hunting within the ranks of untags.

Yeah, I've been getting quite some acres from these bots as well...

It's time to make it impossible to farm someone in your own tag. Now theres enough fish in the sea anyway

if attacking against another country in same tag would be impossible then retal teams would become useless or tags would work around it by detagging retaller and then orig. defender would get land back and retaller would tag up.

so is FA by market , now with the bots the warring people that like grabbing can compete with land traders if they wish.

if you make it so you cant hit your own countries or tag , people will just find grabbing partners like they do in alliance or create a second tag.
