Someone is stocking early and doesn't anticipate those to sell.

Or there is one farmer this week. if that's the case, find him and farm him or he will win.

im a farmer

im not going to win

im also not going to crash the market yet either. deal with a small server market, if you can even wrap your head around that concept.

have we met?

every set people fluff about coordination and market shenanigans when they see a high price. apparently a concept where there is a stupidly small market because this game is dying is too hard to understand. no, people have to go straight to cheating. it is an interesting parallel to why the game is probably dying, among other things.

who is the one with the complaint?

who is the butthurt?

ill let you think about that one while you come up with another intelligent response.

I'd just like to point out that mrford is the only one talking about coordination or cheating. A lone demo can still pull shenanigans by buying out the bushel market. Shenanigans don't necessarily mean cheating. Interesting parallel.

Also, I'll add that I'm not complaining. I pull these sorts of shenanigans all the time. It's part of the game.

also, do you really think a demo can control the food market like that and still have enough to buy his own stock too at this point in the set? lol. i would like to see that.

or

people started stocking, or a few farmers didnt log in for 12 hours while a high number of cashers batch explored, or any other number of things that regularly happen on this server, every single set

you cant take a snapshot and make assumptions on a server this small and fast paced. you need to use eestats or something to make statements like yours. you clearly dont.

sure less reps doesnt necessarily equal less cashers but it still seems counter-intuitive that prices would be inflated with so few repos

i wasnt talking about government watching, i was talking about market stats.....

look at the bs and res tech sales in the last 12 hours compared to agri, and then for the 12 hours befoe that. weird huh? lots of cashers running turns when you were making your post.

I can see what you are talking about, three hours of increased casher tech made the market dry up. Perhaps an opportunistic farmer just saw the market run out and made his fortune.

Also possible though that a demo techer used money from those same tech sales to buy up the bushels. There were a few high priced sets of bushels on the market at the time.

stocking. buying to batch explore.

occams razor. simplest is the most likely.

food intended to sell gets bought out every single set. people take a risk and stock food high in the chance that it will happen while their food is on the market. it is a strat of a server with a market this small.

it literally happens every set, and i havnt done any buyouts in at least 6 sets. fluff, like 3 weeks ago my stock, as a landfarm, sold at $65. i was suprised as fluff.

granted, the possibility that it was dirty exists, but really how are you ever going to know.
