So my wife and I were having a conversation over dinner... She says fritos in chili is best and I say crackers! It comes down to our upbringing. But that leads me to wonder which is more popular? My whole life I've only ever had crackers (saltines) with my chili. This is ground breaking...

So which is it:

1. Crackers (saltines)
2. Fritos

Oysters, Fritos then saltines.

good chili doesnt need any starch product added to it

the only thing i will add to my chili is pickled jalapenos, and maybe some shredded cheese and/or raw onions. thats it!

Crackers....but I love ford's jalepeno idea. I like things spicy! Get some raw, sliced jalepeno's in there and it should be great. Espeically with these cold days.

I make a frito casserole and frito taco salad. But I am not putting that in my chili. The only thing I add to my chili is onions, sour cream and jalapenos.

Not in chili.

I find habaneros are only good for cooking with instead of adding after, else it is uncomfortably spicy. I like spice, but I don't like when it overpowers the flavor of the food.

Pickled jalapeños, the good crunchy ones, are perfect for this.

Salt, pepper, and olive oil on the steak before grill, nothing after. Anything else is blasphemy and ruining a good steak.
