I think any tag that doesn't declare on FFAt is a tag that can't be allowed to get too big.

I hate to say that, but time after time, in the interest of being receptive to new blood, some jerk with an axe to grind takes advantage of our goodwill.

While I understand that "new players" may not have found or participate in this Forum, I also know that this game is NOT attracting new players by the truckload via random Googling. No. What's more likely is that these "new tags" are simply comprised of the same Bad Actors we suffer reset in and reset out.

I think anyone who KNOWS me understands that I've always gravitated towards running or being in smallish tags and that I'm one of the first to welcome that on the server. I also understand some of the attitudes I see on this thread and have no valid argument to dispute their points of view.

At least send a friendly message asking first. But otherwise, target practice in my opinion.

Well don't get your panties in a bunch over crack. I thought I'd play a set but don't have enough time to commit to a clan.

My plans are

Plan A) to explore out to about 7k. Do some self-farming out to about 20k. Then do some random land grabs on random clans. At that size, I am sure that I will be on the losing end of the retals, but it will amuse me nonetheless.

Plan B) it looks like CC is running a script preparing for war. It would be nice if they included me in their war declaration. Hopefully I wont get chem-ed to death in the fs since I will probably be running low SDI.

Not true. I have been random suicided in Express (before I learned the new GDI rules) and one-grab retal suicided in Team - twice. And by suicide I mean literally deleted the country after.

When HT was suicided on it was announced weeks in advance after he was looking for a war and he was trying to run so its not the same suiciding as when random netters get hit.

Well tko (me) got suicided on last reset because I wouldn't reveal what Ford's countries were , even tho Ford wasn't even in tko.

So home turf who did I fluff over in that regard???

I can count maybe 3 resets where we have had suiciders that had actual ground to suicide or hit us, every other resets it's been about other clans or landtrading.

I'm running 16 dems. Thought i'd run some farmers. Prices suck so i thought its still early, I'll just make them cashiers instead.

So I get my countries up to 7k just like i posted i planned to do and then planned to start my land trading up to 20k just as posted.

One thing no one ever taught me in self-farming school. Never ever do this with demos. First hit 30 ghost acres and destroyed not captured, destroyed 600 buildings. Epic fail.

Just double checked to make sure that yes there were successful.

Defenses were 10k turrets, 2k troops, 100 tanks. Sent 12k jets to be safe overkill. Those were truly the results.

i don't mean bounced, i mean undersent. ghost acres are now (and have been for a couple of resets now) a function of units sent in relation to land and networth. there's posts on the announcements forum somewhere.

edited: typoed in my calcs. you definitely undersent if you only sent 12k units.

it scales up insanely quickly really. land trading past 40-50k starts to really hurt, jetswise
