I rejoined game A this set with no problem.

Tournament players always make this mistake. I am not sure how or why. When you create your country in the new reset, it will say something like:

To recreate your country XXX XXXXX in Game A, click below.
[Create Country button]

To start a new country, blah blah blah. Words.

Enter your country name here: [ _______________ ]



they then enter their country name instead of clicking the button up top, and ask why they're not in game A

There is a thread about it literally every round. maybe there actually IS a bug ??? but it's worked every time for me for a couple of years now.

Let me guess, lots of tiny text that all run into each other so you actually have to read it vs just skimming a header and understanding what's going on? =P

The very first sentence says to click the button to join game A, and then there's a button, so I really don't see how people miss that. But it's true that under the button, there's a whole lot of text and then a field for your name; I guess people just ignore everything entirely and type in a country name (although... since they're promoting their old country, they should know that doesn't make sense)...

I guess what I am saying is that you are probably right, LATC, too much text and people zone out and fluff it up. I'm just also saying that I think those people have some kind of attention deficit issue they should look into, or something?

As web developer for end users I definitely agree. Ppl these days suck and never read anything. But what can you do except adapt, the alternative is constantly answering support questions of things that are already outlined.

I think we just really don't want zero in Game A with us. He might bring down the property values.

ok I think I got the same problem in FFA. it seems you really cannot use 0 as country name.

nope, my countryname started with 0 and that 0 got removed after creation.

hm it might be checking if(!$countryname) and 0 would evaluate to false;

so if we want to name our countries in ffa with 2 digit numbers starting from 1 we need to use O1 instead 01.

If '0' is not a legitimate name, then '000' probably isn't either, if it is using boolean testing.
