Cam beasted today.

Gmen 0-2 :( from the time they took a 14-10 lead, they 1) allowed a long fg drive 2) went three and out 3) allowed a pr td 4) fumbled away the ensuing kickoff, leading to a fg 5) responded with a drive deep into the red zone, and fumbled it away.

All that was missing was the Benny hill music.

yeah, i was disappointed in KB today. he had that one wtf circus catch, cut had a couple important drops he should of gotten imo. but he is a rookie. he is going to need time to learn.

also, cam needs to learn how to throw the damn ball away. im tired of him tryin to shimmy shimmy shake a defensive player only to lose 15 yards. throw that fluff away and try again on 2nd and 10 homie! dont take the hit every time. our offensive line aint the greatest

another worry was at one point we only had 1 healthy RB on the roster, an injury prone JStew, i was nervous as fluff.

The problem with the new breed QBs is that they come to nfl with a collegiate play style. Running around trying to be a mix of a running back and a QB. Its fairly obvious that it doesnt work to well. You might wins a game sure..but you spend half the time nursing injuries. RG3 a primeexample. Mark sanchez. Cam newton.

woah now, To be clear, last week is the first game Cam Newton has missed since High School, and it wasnt by choice.

lets not label him as injury prone. he has a unique 6'5" 245 pound frame that can at least handle some of the beatings. would i like him to avoid contact more? sure. but he aint no 6'0" 210lb QB out there.

Cam didnt play that well nor did he win them the game. Their defense absolutly shut down the lions offense which will be a top 3-4 offense in the NFL this year.

I don't hate the Hawks in perticular. I wonder why the panthers have played them 3 years in a row in the regular season.

I kinda like Russell Wilson

Ford - nfl scheduling is easily predictable. As you know, two games against everyone in your division (6 games). Then, you get one full division from the AFC and one from the NFC (8 games). The final two games are the "strength of schedule" games - these are vs the two teams in your conference that finished in the same place in their division as you did and are not in the division your division plays.

Therefore, the panthers and Seahawks finished in the same "divisional place" at least two out of three years, because div v div is rotated on a fixed basis.

Think of it like this. The pats and the colts always play each other because they each always win their divisions, even though the AFC east and AFC north only play each other every fourth year. Likewise the packers and... fluff, the NFC is much tougher.

I probably just did an awful job explaining that, I will try agin sober.

I know exactly how scheduling works, still doesn't make it any less strange that the Panthers have the Seahawks scheduled in carolina for the third year in a row, and not being in the same division.

In addition, since the NFC South's formation, no team has ever won the division in back to back years. To go along with that, the Panthers have also never had back to back winning seasons in their 19 years of existance.

well he has a barely trained monkey at QB, and since he has been caught cheating his team hasn't done much...the Patriots are old news. They may still get the division but it wont be without a fight from all the young teams in the division
