Alin, Ivan, Tella, TAN, Arsenal, Mdevol and I are all in warchats together and its been very pleasant and peaceful. I dare say gentlemanly even.

Actually, I've always got along with Ivan. The only time I haven't was when he was in his infuriating SoF phase of being a total jerk when it came to being civil with Paradigm.

But now, he's cool. During MET, he was cool. It's just when he was in SoF...ffs what a pain in the ass. Like...did he HAVE to be a jerk while he was there and totally a cool guy everywhere else? And he always acted like he was doing me favors while SoF was slipping a knife in my back.

But it's just politics, so I understand Ivan's position. It just made me mad is all, but that's to be expected when each alliance has their own interests in mind. I've always liked and got along with Ivan outside of those dark SoF times.

Yeah believe it or not I have even been getting along with people in warchats that I never used to get along with, I think that there is just a different feeling about the game. People realize something that they didn't before. . .

Apart from Ivan i never had a beef with anyone up there. And the beef with Ivan was actually a beef with Sof leadership which is something i was born with.

+ i don`t act in warchats as i act here - all i do there is joking ( and it`s so funny to see some people take my jokes serious - because my AT attitude | - * |).

Yeah, the chats have been nothing but fun and games. The most hostile I saw anyone was when I brought in a trivia bot after the other one died while we were playing and they got mad at me, lol.

jon is responsible with the feng shui of the chat.

Except sometimes he goes on a drinking spree ( half to an entire 1 beer ) and it`s all fluffed up.

I must say, the state of IRC trivia bots has declined since the old days.

When Suncrusher and galleri are in the chat together it's a nightmare. Our runs stall or get walled and we lose our own countries. Those two combined are LaF & SoFt's best weapon.

Yeah, pretty much. It wasn't just Ivan who was a prick, it was the entire leadership structure. Once SoF and LaF started fellating each other, it was over - we pretty much had to do what you or LaF said or else risk war. aponic, I'm not sure what impression you have of SoF, but maybe we should have a chat about it sometime so you can get an outsider's perspective. I think you're under the impression that most people like(d) you guys. Individually, I like some of you guys (I think you're cool too, apon). But your leadership structure has always been rigid (in policy) and threatening (in policy).

For the record, I was never told who we would be fighting (although I could extrapolate based on pacts) until a week before the set started. I was never told who our war allies would be, nor that this would turn into a server war (until the set started). So actually, if you mean "you" as in Paradigm, I suppose you have a point. If you mean "you" as in me, well, you're wrong.

I'm glad to hear that we had good relations - I just recently unretired a set ago and I haven't even had a chance to chat with any of you guys. I'm sorry that this (inevitable) war could tarnish those relations.

I'm sure though you understand why the server could no longer tolerate the status quo, though. It seems to me this war is nothing personal, and I hope that SoF feels this way too.
