I just wonder, wich alliance played most resets (having at lest few countreis in tag at end of reset) in whole earth history? So far i think its Omega, but? (LaF maybe)

Sol and laf would be in their 91st resets if they havent missed any. Thats why SoF is only at 80, whilst otherwise theyd be about 88 now..

afaik the LaF tag has existed every reset of every game since it was founded. That includes having a LaF tag here and jolt in e2025s last reset. From what I remember.

Also congrats, it's a pretty huge achievement, there are very few of us that have been here every reset like that and even in the end of the game I doubt the list goes beyond a handful.

I'm pretty sure omega is older than sol?
From what I remember it goes laf, omega, md, sol with md having disbanded so not having played all the sets in between, but as a tag existed before sol.

SoL existed before The Omega, so they must be us+1 at the very minimum. Same with LaF, though they could be 92?
SoF broke off in The Omega's 4th reset, but I think they would count that as one..

1) formation, war against RoCK, war with RoCK & Rockfamily vs Don Gramberto led LaF
2) war with RoCK as a part of Rockfamily against LaF
3) war against RoCK with MD (WW3)
4) Tiger reset, SoF splits off in the warchat during the Omega's FS

I remembered resets 1 and 2 as being the same, which is where my error was, so SoF had they played every reset would be 86/87 resets old depending on where you start counting.

what about the sets when 1a became a seperate server in E2025and I believe a lot of players switched tags in the transfer of servers, did Omega always stay Omega? just curious

Omega has always been Omega wherever we've been. I think you're referring to the introduction of the user managed server? EC or whatever it was? We moved over after our 45th reset... holy crap, that mean we've now spent as long post-1a as in 1a... that's crazy. We didn't have a presence in both, but we maintained the tag and everything when we switched over.

did laf stick around during the death of jolts earth? i mean when neofed was like the top alliance in the game.. i imagine laf couldnt have been there?

Not too sure. I was in IX at that time but I remember LaF being in that war so I know they had a decient number of people.

they first had their own tag in the test server in the summer of 99 when mehul first introduced the theo.

SOL, LaF, and Omega all predate SoF. And by a fair bit. The wiki has top 100 players as far back as Nov 1998 which is before my time and before tagging was a thing. But you will clearly see TIE, LaF, and SOL countries in the top 100. Though if Omega was only in its 4th set by summer of 99 then TIE/SOL/LaF all predate it.

TIE is at least as old as The Omega, as I played in TIE during Omega's first reset. It was hosted on the same site with Inferno's kid's little league team - DeIMP aka cyref recruited me to TIE. So I reckon TIE must be a reset older too - tho no idea how many sets they've missed in between..

SoF broke off in the warchat in which we hit Tiger, The Omega was a mess that reset while building a new website after having been kicked off rockfamily, I drew up the attack list with Iori Yagami, set the warchat time sometime into the night for our US members to run it, and sent the data to Helmet and Homer S iirc.
Next morning I logged in to see that Helmet's group had broken off during that warchat - so I'd kinda count the Tiger reset as SoF's birth, while the "first" reset was the test "branded" as SoF. I think tags were introduced then too.

Until then you just tagged with Don or Alpha in your country name. And drew whatever policy you could enforce (TGA 8-1 retal as they didnt grab (Danger should implement that)). I think the policy for Don's was a Dom could grab you once or twice, but you couldn't grab a Don. That eventually resulted in the Hunt for Don Gramberto.. (they should make a movie of that)

Yes LaF was in e2025 jolt days to the very end... I got a t10 in the final set that's how I remember lol.
