Yawn..... Kind of pointless to fight when the numbers are so skewed. But we knew it was coming. Ill fight.....give me something to do.

Well Donny, that plan never came together. It was talked about after Mike told me what was going to happen. But as you can tell by the lack of activity from some of our allies we knew from the beginning of the set we were on our own. I have chat logs saved saying we would go at it alone regardless of numbers. I just wasn't expecting the lack of activity on our end. But it is what it is. I'm not going to start crying about the obvious. We will continue to restart and ankle bite the fluff out of you all set long. Even if it's just me doing it.

I admire the determination, but in all honesty, those were far away from war-ready countries. As Donny said, CC has no beef with most of Ares, just one particular member, unfortuneatly that means hitting all of Ares.



Best part is that if this is true, initial mission was a success.

i am still struggling to see how Scott/Ares somehow "wins" this by playing the "woe is me" card via starting countries late or allies wern't going to help us. Ares knew this was coming from early on in the set, and passed on a chance for an early war when they had mostly commies and CC had tech builds going.

In all honesty, CC didn't win either. A) most of Ares are great guys, been absoulte gentlemen in all my dealings with you B) it wasn't much of contest.

What is done is done though, going to keep on trucking.

Although no leaders of NBK have approached me on this issue, one of the members did. It would appear he was upset that Ares and PAN had a pact with CC last set. What most people forget is we generally pact both NBK and CC. That changed during the whole ICD war and even then I think we had a pact with Mike during that one too. Point being the lack of active leaders at the end and beginning of the last two sets prevented us from getting pacts finalized. So we went forward with pacts not knowing our would be FDP's plans. We are doing the silent treatment phase at the moment I guess.

RB, yes you are right we knew it was coming and we should have FSed OOP but we didn't. JJ is moving again, Scott still with his kid in the hospital, Lintz has been inactive until yesterday, and I switched Divisions at work so.....well you get what I'm saying. I just didn't bother putting any effort into my countries knowing what was coming. We have not started that low number of countries since I came back.


So I'm not saying we win because of that. It's just weak sauce for someone the size of CC to hit 64 poorly constructed countries. Especially after last set when Donny cried about numbers advantage. But you are hitting for a reason so it's ok lol. See you on the battle field.

As stated before, thiis is no great triumph, but I think Act II is about to start.

That said, I wish Scott's kid all the best, no child should beed to be in the hospital. However; that is no excuse for those country names that were rightfully deleted last set, espeically if you can't back that talk up. I would think someone going through a personal trying time would avoid country names like that; espeically after being warned more than once.

Poor taste? Yes. Worth deleting? Yes. At the end of the set instead of when they were created? No. I know you didn't push the purple button. I have seen much worse country names that have been allowed. But that's not the point. The point is he violated no Ares Policy that R.Lintz or I have been made aware of. CC called us out and as such we will stand up wipe the blood off off our nose and keep at it. It will not be pretty. It will not end quickly and it will be a brutal one sided fight. But we are Ares. Call us what you want as far as skill or lack of skill. We are resilient and relentless. It's going to be a long 40 days.

When you defend a member whose country name said a fellow player should have been aborted, you get what is coming to you.

This server needs more clans badly.

It was not purposefully meant to harm or offend. It was just like any other string of personal jabs. Like I said it was poor in taste. But unless I'm missing something, aside from that and some trash talk he was playing the game. As a clan you have the right to FS whoever you wish. If thats your reasoning I get it.
