braden certainly has a vivid imagination and a grotesquely overblown sense of self-importance. i've never threatened him, i have no idea what country he's running this set, and, to the best of my recollection, we've never spoken.
for the record, i don't like alliance server. i think it's a joke. i quit playing on this server when landtrading became first accepted and then encouraged. i find this environment as challenging and interesting as playing poker when everyone knows everybody else's cards. no thanks. other people still enjoy it, fine, to each his own.
before this set began, several lcn leaders asked me to rejoin lcn and play. i told them all why i had quit playing this server, and made very clear that i had no interest in playing in any alliance that allowed landtrading. and, douchebag that i admittedly am, i posted on the forums that i reserved the right to farm any lcners who did landtrade, with the full knowledge that lcn would kill and/or boot me for doing so.
although i wasn't addressing braden, and had no clue that he planned to landtrade, he posted on essentially every thread on the lcn forums that i had "threatened" him with "violence," and that he had to leave because lcn always let me have my way and no one had responded to him within his self-imposed 40 minute deadline.
in the meantime, scribble messaged me asking me to leave lcn because i had upset braden. i immediately detagged, and demoted myself in boxcar to vacation status.
contrary to braden's virulent paranoia, i have no interest whatsoever in committing scary violence against him, whatever the hell that means in the context of a text-based internet game. to the contrary, i have no interest in this server, period. i agreed to play this set only as a favor to several old friends.
since i accepted a few ingame alliance proposals today, before braden's hissy fit, i'll maintain my country until i can break those alliances and fa those involved as compensation for the inconvenience to them. then i'll blissfully return to my former state of entirely ignoring this server.
look, braden, you got your way! impressive display of taking this ridiculous game about 10,000 times too seriously. i wish you and your precious country all the best.
