But by this point they have stocked all set in bushels dropped that and any additional sales are a bonus

selling 1 tech point which is worth 1nw right? for $500 and then buying 4 troops under 100 each gives u 2nw right? even if it is 2nw per tech point.. u can easily buy troops under 100 as a theoMbr and get 5 of them.. giving u .5 more nw after the sell

but a tech point is worth the same as a tank, 2NW. so generally its tied the 2nd most economical unit. same as $125 troops

so unless you have a solid amount of tech or MBs, its tarded to autosell it at $500. $500 tanks or $125 troops at the end of the set would be pretty cool on the public market.

well yea, but u need those factors. and if ur seriously playing and selling tech the end of set like that, ur aiming for top10 so u should have solid military tech (u should have organized a buyout of that.. especially with fat land trading countries needing it)

the objective of a buyout is a thin market

mil tech is never a thin market at the end of the set, when this buyout was planned, so that is literally one of the worst buyout techs. seriously

i chose med because with like 14 days to go in the set i looked at 100+ hours of market data and med tech was not selling in high volumes, telling me that there wasnt much out there. the problem i ran into was that in a week, i was only able to buy 2mill or so points. not really enough for a easy buyout, my advantage was also my weakness. not to mention someone only bought half my first block, giving away my price, and blockers abound popped up the next day, among other misscommunications.

if it was a set long thing, it would of gone differently, but i still would never choose mil tech...... thats stupid.


edit: i feel i need to further explain. all those fat netters had hundreds of thousands of points of mil tech of their own, so blockers could of been thrown up by every single netting country on the server. obviously i didnt want that.
