On another Anzac note scode have u read anything about the possibility of the wallabies and all blacks playing an Anzac match next year against a combined rest of the world team to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Gallipoli?

Yes I have heard the players are keen, but the coaches and management not so much due to their 'busy schedule' and 'chance of getting injured'.

Personally, its their friggin job, so play the game.

Tbh I don't think the rest of the world would stand a chance... Probably just running scared... I know from what I've been reading on my side of the ditch the ARU are all keen for it.

well thats good, I hope it happens, Anzac day means a lot to me so the chance to get pissed and watch rugby (which also means a lot to me) on that day would be very enticing!

But yes, personally it would have to be the lions, ROW would just not gel well enough to make it competitive, they should make it All blacks vs AU/SA team, now that would be awesome

Yeah I'm more keen for a lions vs nz/oz... Good friendly hard fought allied match.

I think Aus/Sa combined team would be an awesome challenge for the All Blacks too.

I don't think the timing could coincide for it to happen on Anzac Day ... They were talking June/July last I heard.
