where are people just lurking?

I was formerly in NA and I could just hang in our room and find people to talk with, but as NA is no longer I was wondering if there were just general Earth rooms?
I tried looking in #EarthEmpires and random tags (I kept being the only person in the room) maybe I'm forgetting to type something when trying to enter a room?

*Note I use Colloquy as I have a Mac and that seemed to work pretty well last time (2 years ago)

Most clans here don't seem to use gamesurge. I loiter there for other games I am active in, but nobody there with me seems to play Earth anymore...

Our own irc server has faster news than what third parties can provide.

SoF still uses gamesurge. thats about it.

few (tie, sof, icn, lcn, .....) use gamesurge still but rest are either on their own server (sol and laf) or use ee-irc. irc isn't used much when compared to mehul's era outside warchats.
