I walked downtown this morning (about 4mi.) to the downtown library for a quiet place to work on some things. They closed an hour ago but it's about 100degrees out and I don't feel like heading home yet. I'm going from airconditioned wireless spot to airconditioned wireless spot. haha

I'm in a mcdonalds by campus right now rocking out to oldies and drinking a coke. Heh the exchange students here for the summer that keep walking by aren't too bad either.

here there are 110 (43 celsius) (don't tell you where, but it's in the other corner of the planet :P ) and my air conditioner unit nearly fails, the bird has its wings opened all the time (sign it's hot) and chirps every second. and my poor dog licks the floor tiles (colder). It's a funny zoo in my house. I don't know if I should laugh seeing them react, or feeling sorry for them.

heat index is what murders. Round these parts, with the humidity, 100 has a index of 115-120, 49C. It's quit normal though, although this has been one of the warmest summers I can remember

yeah..it's been uber hot in south Texas this year. I don't like complaining about the heat cuz I hate the cold so much, but DAMN...a bit of a reprieve would be nice. My a/cs can't keep up!
