ARROW are a Faction Warfare corp in EVE nowadays, as far as I know. Long gone are their days of largescale Alliance warfare.

They were in Morsus Mihi [HIRR] several years ago, and the Alliance I play with (incidentally the alliance who lost the most on this occasion in the OP's link) ended up destroying HIRR and pushing them out of their space. Haven't heard a peep from them since.

100k people warring at the same time in EE would definitely be more than our bandwidth could handle lol... but we'd obviously have added more if we started moving in the direction of 100k daily users.....

It'd be cool if we could get a land/air/sea war game with the graphics and scale of EVE. I would totes play that.

I use to play eve, it was a ton of fun back in the day, but there is no way for new players to ever catch up, which is what turned me off to the game, because skill had almost no basis on growth in that game.

It really isn't earth on crack, its setup a script to mine, then login to next account do the same thing, login to third account setup script to transport said mined goods 4th account you actually get to play, but training takes hours, so you don't really have to play just wait

If you've been mining to make money, then you've been doing it wrong, friend. Run missions, get out into 0.0, even run FW Missions (ISK/hour for these are crazy).

Haven't mined ingame since ~2005.

New players can very quickly specialize and be as good as a 10 year old pilot in certain aspects of the game, if they look carefully at what they want to do ingame. If you want to get out and into these huge battles, then specializing into something like Interdictors is a very quick and easy path, and you'll be useful (very often the most useful person) in every single nullsec fleet in the game. When you are there, you can focus on training up other stuff (Hictors, Armor Hacs, Battleships) whilst still being useful in an Interdictor.

Getting into a corp is a must though. EVE University is great for teaching people to play the game, and then letting you spread your wings once you are done or feel ready. Brave Newbies are also very good at what they do.

No. Ships are all identical (the hulls are all the same).

Players who have invested skillpoints in Manufacturing and Research may be able to build that hull for a cheaper cost (less minerals), but the end product is identical to every other of that ship in the game.

why cant we have graphics like them? you bunch a cheap skates!
