I decided I was very clever and instead of landgrabbing I would do a combination of explore / destroy and build as I had over grabbed some research labs.

My destroy 40 / research labs somehow got changed to destroy 40 / cs.

Looks like ya'll get a handicap for this round.

Which brought me to the subject of catostrophic errors, in the broader context of life. How can they be prevented in situations where more is on the line than the fate of an imaginary country?

A confirmation popup box would prevent it on ANY CS destruction, but the counter-argument is that the game doesn't need hand-holding.

Which kind of goes against most modern games nowadays, they all come with full-fledged tutorials.

40 is nothing, some have destroyed several hundred-1k cs's when they should have destroyed ics/farms and they all wanted confirmation do you want to destroy your cs's added into game (quite likely won't happen).

Patience: Yep, I'm with ELK and Marshal.

ELKronos: Patty is more hairy.

Gallery: K at least I am to my expectations now.

LadyGrizz boobies is fine

NOW3P: Morwen is a much harsher mistress than boredom....

Attention to detail

The US military harps on this form of discipline all the time, as pop up messages helping ensure you properly packed that parachute don't normally pop up

I set on 00 turret production instead of 100. Dunno how long it was for. I just happened to see no military production after a batch explore and was like.. WTF? How longs that been like that? Coulda been all day for all I know. *shrugs*

Pretty easy to do on a phone if you're rushing through turns. Lol

You learn by mistakes. When you get burned by this, or running out of food, or leaving your tax rate at 20% like I did recently, you double check things and scan your status periodically.

I've probably done this more than once, it happens easily when you still have like 50/50 of each type of building

Here's one. If you take the free gdi, does it still show up in your expenses on a spy op?

It shows up when people spy you, but they dont see it when they view it in their saved spy ops.

Haha... I have made some crazy mistakes like that before.
