seriously, i'm not even being dramatic here - the above may qualify you as the single worst player ever. at least pure n00bs have no idea what they are doing, but what's your excuse? 24 hours a day online playing this game, cheating and taking spots away from clean legit players ...

EE is kinda a snowbally game. Once 1 retal comes in it's a lot easier for more retals to come in.

Once it's past 1-2 retals might as well have the rest.

this play only highlights how badly you were indeed cheating the rounds you won.
no player with winning talent would EVER make 1 or 2 of those hits, let alone all 5.
you are bad. objectively bad. no excuses.

ebert is a cheating worthless scum and a horrible player

this is completely untrue. the resets you are talking about are when h2o started a very new style of play - one that ebert tried to copy and failed flat on his face.

h2o grabbed the entire server and exposed himself to a few retals, but grabbed so well and got proper techs that the few retals dented him very little overall , and he still won. in this case ebert fell flat on his face tried to taunt the server with his country name, and will not finish well.

ebert was leeching tech - and we did the math on it, the compound interest gained was in the billions.
and then after he was called out on it, he continued to do so.

not purple cheating violations, but on this server to legit players, it is considered cheating.
he's a cheater. he's worthless.

venom must be met with venom, imo. this is not a humble victim. this is a brazen leecher who tries to call the server out when he is retalled / makes country names that are arrogant and then runs poor countries to boot.

It's really easy to not get retalled. When you spy someone before attacking them, make sure to look at how many turns they've used. Don't hit people who will have a lot of turns next time they play their country.

Oh, and run a very very high defense, too obviously.

Gotta make sure you have solid D allies too. An extra 2-3m turrets from allies does not hurt.

blid i think by now you've seen i am objective when it comes to rating players. i call rich (h2o) out more than anyone and i stood up for ebert when he first leeched and chalked it up to him not knowing the etiquette. unfortunately your memory fails you and the very following set he was caught leeching again and when called out on it - he became very combative. and then the following set when we all thought for sure he would finally stop, he leeched again! it was really bad.


i firmly believe h2o is the single best new player (that did not play e2025) and i would be glad to eat my shorts if someone challenges him to a netting duel and wins.
h2o has not tried on this server and i do not benefit from saying that. it's just the truth

tbh, wouldnt it be easier to get at him by farming than to flame? i mean.. flaming's really past our time, given that you are an "old" player, if you started when you were 13 (when it was still okay to be flaming and all), you've gotta be at least 20 now.

just take it easy and enjoy the game, dont piss yourself over people that don't know how to play fair, cuz it happens, and when they take their game somewhere else, in the real world, that's where it'll hit them. so just sit back, put your legs up and smoke a cuban, and watch for it to happen. dont sweat over it.

i don't remember ebert leeching that many times. maybe a second time saying he always allied russianroulette and blah bla but then he promised not to do it anymore and afaik he has stuck to that promise. if im wrong then let me know.

Vic, I don't see the problem with leeching tech. I let newbies leech tech from me all the time. It's hard when I gotta tell them repeatedly to get some tech first so that they will actually benefit from my teching turns, but I can't classify that as cheating.

cerb it's moreso when someone finishes 1st place and had they not leeched tech they would have finished 8th or 9th place and then after doing so they run around saying they are better than everyone else ...

he stopped 2 or 3 resets ago but before that it was consistent. and on his tech sets he had o allies

actually there are many of us who firmly believe he did not win within server rules and that he coordinated with russian roulette to hit/topfeed his competition.
each of his wins, there was in instance of that.

firstly - a venomous attack implies some sort of innocent victim.
secondly - a venomous attack should be baseless.

ebert is a cheater and a liar. my attack was limited to ingame and earth topics - specifically his past rules abuse in express, and his pathetic failure of a set in a time when he named his country something to taunt the server.

this is no gentleman's environment, getafix. if guys like me let guys like that go free, guys like you and the others that don't get involved in express talk are none the wiser.

now you can say you feel my attack was venomous - but to say it's worse than his cheating? really?
what was so bad about my attack? that i called him a poor player for calling others out and saying he is better?
that i highlighted the fact that he was completely owned in retals 5 times in the reset??

or that he in the past, used blatant leeches and had his ally consistently, every single round, topfeed his competition.


ebert is a sneaky cheater and his kind need to be met with vocal resistance on express talk.
the vocal resistance is what first got him to stop leeching and it was a step, but now i'm afraid he is utilizing his friend 'russian roulette' in other manners less visible.

so frankly i'm disappointed and even a little offended that you first qualified my post as venomous - or rather, you reduced it to 'venomous' when in reality it was a lot more than that.

i've been playing this game since 1997. i've started a few alliances, won 1a, won 1b, won 4a, etc etc and i've brought many many many players to this game. tens if not hundreds over the years.
this game means a lot to me.
i see some of the trolls around here and the cheaters and this game is a place for them to waste their time.

this has never been that to me and it never will be.
so i plan to continue to meet rats who want to be arrogant and say they are better than others and use his tactics, and then look like a n00b doing so, i continue to meet them with vocal force.

as always, i will keep comments to ingame issues - which disqualifies my attacks as venomous imo, and i will continue play my role in earth - something many of you newer players don't seem to understand.

Vic, you are a good player and you put a lot of effort into playing this game. So does Ebert, so do I and many others. We had a very long and interesting discussion about the game recently in Tellarion's thread. It was pretty rational and people discussed the issues without descending into too much personal vitriol.

In that discussion, my take is that leaching is allowed but the players would like to see that tweaked somehow.

Its not helpful when the discussion gets so personal and emotional that you start insulting and personally attacking individuals like this. If this was real life, and you said a fraction of what you just said to Ebert to me, you would be getting a punch in the head.

the only personal 'real life' attacks in this thread are the quotes from blid regarding either ebert or h2o. he brought real life into it. i love blid, but to remain objective - that was the only thing on this thread that was really personal.
i didn't mention anything about ebert's real life and as such, none of my message was 'rl personal'.

blid is someone i look up to and respect and he is anything but venomous. so to see him speak the way he did about h2o or ebert should be enough evidence that that's more or less the culture around here and if there was nothing venomous about what blid said, then there is certainly nothing that could qualify as vitriol in my message.
