So I had always assumed that whoever put a standing order first would get the goods first. I have multiple countries (in FFA) with the same standing order. One placed after the other (I waited for it to actually come into affect), and I have noticed that the sales do not always go in the order in which the standing order was placed.

Is this just a fluke or is there some way that goods are distributed to all currently eligible* standing orders?

* - by eligible I mean able to satisfy the order

It is supposed to be first come first serve... Did the first country run out of funds to full fill the order, thus moving it onto the next country?

I believe they re-order themselves every once in a while in a more random nature, which is part of our mechanism to avoid market aiding :)

qz will have more info on this

Okay, here's how it goes;

There is an SO queue

First order on gets served first!

BUT

-if you have your order partially filled (even just 1 bushel), that order gets placed to the back of the queue
-if your order has been on more than 72-96 (random) hours, it gets put back to the back of the queue (and the time refreshed, so 72-96 hours later it will be put to the back of the queue)

This makes it so it's basically a constantly rotating queue even if there's people with $trillions buying stuff with orders from the first day

good to know...so I had bought the whole lot the person sold, but still had my order left so got pushed to the back...got it.

How does the queue system? Is there one for each price?

Like If I have order for 3000,35000, and 4000 in that order in three different countries (all three orders in each country) and something comes on for 2500, what happens? the first one buys the whole lot, then something comes on for 2700, and the second one buys it...then something comes on for 3100 and who buys it? second or third country?

Is there just on massive queue for all orders of the same goods? in that case the third country would buy it...?

There is just one queue for ALL goods (orderd by time, which is initially set when it got put on, and gets updated when it buys something AND every 72-96 hours). They get processed in order.

In that case (SO for 3000,3500,4000) and 2500 comes on, the first gets it, and gets put to the back (35000,4000,3000); and then yes, if 2700 comes on the second gets it, and gets put to the back (4000,3000,3500); then if 3100 comes on, the 4k guy gets it, and put to the back (3000,3500,4000); IF then some came on again at 3100 what would happen would the second would get it, and put to the back... so (3000,4000,3500).
Finally did the signature thing.

Awesome, qz! Thanks for the clarification.

Does the queue for selling goods work in the same manner?

No, I believe selling goods is FIFO.
