That would have required 15 million jets and no defense leaving him wide open for all kinds of Top feeds. Theres retals worth taking and then theres just dumb moves that push youe expenses too high let alone 500k oil at 300 a barrel just to make that hit. Too each there own but a sunday retal for a 15 million break wont go unnoticed, someone tried to run down Alin last set and took top feeds in return for running all jets to try to get enough to retal.

Also I don't change country names each set so those that hit me.. have a very high chance of getting retalled.. either way.. getting topfeed or not is not the question here.

Plenty other targets that don't take initiative to retal.

all I want is to do an all-x.. and try out strats. But noooo.. someone has to grab me.

btw I had more than 15m jets ready with oil.

some guy did a 30+ day retal on me in primary, when there were 2 days left. i hit him back even though he had 50 missiles anad i knew it would cost me a top ten :}

I wouldn't call it entitlement as much as these are the policies that I will enforce on any give day.

If a player runs 15 million jets to retal making him a less then 100k PS to retal, I will prove a point by multi-tapping back and going to war. Very easy to bomb jets and just use the player as farm land, and if its at the end of a set then I will spend a week warring with someone to enforce my policies. Ruining a players set to prove a point only proves your a douche bag, defend your land accordingly and you wont need to prove any points. There's plenty of players I spyed and avoided hitting because they had good countries and would be able to retal me and still defend their land.

This is express though. You are susceptible from retals because people are playing up to 720 turns behind you.

You can't claim a person isn't defending their land properly from 720 or even 360 turns behind, hell if I stopped for a quarter of a day I'm 90 turns+w/e stored behind.

You can't claim someone isn't defending their land properly because otherwise any sort of retal on your rules means you arn't defending properly either.

Any top10 commie could easily reach that target towards the end of the set and still have some kind of reasonable defense.

This is true TDA but I never hit anyone more then 200 turns behind me, and like he said "hes doing it to prove a point." That point being he's gonna try to ruin my set by going 15:0.1 jets just to get a retal off. Which isn't netting its just being a tool, plenty of all-x get hit and don't retal players because they want to finish t10. Bradens done it countless times because he knows when its good to take a retal and when its just doing something to "prove a point."

This all started one set when I took a retal from an all jetter that cost me 2 million NW in losses and a spot in the top10 because he wanted to prove his point. The player had no intent on using my land for anything worth while, he just wanted to go all jets and ruin my top10. (Playing a facists and still top10ing is hard enough let alone when people go out of their way to ruin your set.) Different story if they are gonna use it more importantly to help them make top10 instead of "proving a point."

Uh Cable, lots of players I know make it a point to _always_ retal, regardless of whether the land will help their country or not. Some of these players also use the same country name every reset so that the "point" is made that you should not grab them again in future resets, as they can and will retal you in the last 5 minutes. They could care less if you lost a t10 spot. They care more you don't grab them in future resets.

and Xin is right. getafix, braden, superfly, me, bonesaw, gogy and et all use the same country name all the time across servers for a reason.. you play nice, we play nice.

as tda correctly points out - this is a turn based game - so your concept of time is irrelevant.

you say that someone took a t10 spot away from you and i just think that's one of the dumbest things i've ever heard.
he retalled you, successfully. embarrassing yes, and sucks for you yes sure , but you got owned in a retal it sounds, and that's that.

now when i was in 1st place about to close out the set some months ago, and some guy who COULD NOT retal me EVEN BY GOING ALL JETS took TWO hits on me, both DH's just to bring down my NW and cost me the #1 spot (i ended up losing by a few hundred thousand nw)
now that is bs.
that is the sort of thing you can get mad at.

not at someone owning you in a clean retal. whether they go all jets or not.
a retal is a retal deal with it and dont be a n00b

it never has been, i was never associated with any cheating or any of that nonsense.
(many many many others can't say the same. many names have always been synonymous with cheating , but mine simply is not one of them)
my only association to any of that is that i was an old earth 2025 'color' and
since returning i did MOST of my time in LaF, and then for two resets i rebuilt RD with clean players such as TDA, kingme, and hammer ... you want to accuse those guys of cheating?

P.S: for anyone that needs to know Vic wasn`t deleted by pang because he was the only dead RD country at that point. Pang deleted only the living ones.

In E2025 he and his multies were deleted several times. But of course he doesn't keep a record for that.

it is COMMON knowledge in earth that when i played a country with don vic for instance, RJ in steel was not playing a country. that was confirmed many times by even 'enemies' after i retired.

there was nothing against the rules about creating different aliases and working your way up into top leadership in multiple alliances and being handed head positions in alliances by friends who ran those alliances.
