lol food avg. was 38 all set, and still peeps complain. I was 16k farmer, but had to teach jet heavy top feeder whats up.

food has been average $63 for 6 hours, average $56 for 12 hours, average $51 for 24 hours. it's right to complain! where's the farmers! now food price is $74, it's not worth taking turns...

$74 with no food tech is 392.2 an acre so depends on Mil Prices.

I bought 15m bushels at $35 at about turn 1200, (hooray, I'm stocking) and then had to sell it all to my private market at $33 to buy 3m jets from my private market, for a retal. THAT sucks dude

Well, I had just got set to cash at net $8m per turn from turn 1150 onwards. My jets were on the market and sold at 174. I had def allies and I bought turrets up to 4.5m, but it wasn't enough. I should have bought 6m turrets and not been so greedy. I still could have cashed 7.5m per turn or so for 500 turns, for $3.5 billion And those bushels would have sold for $74 making even more. Live and learn...

4.5m turrets was prob enough, you just had bad luck that an unintelligent grabber found you

Actually I had hit him the previous set. It was mutual top ten destroying revenge. But also, my assets were hidden with all the bushels, oil and jets on the market so perhaps he didn't realize I could mobilize 5m jets in about 8 turns.

No amount of def. is going to be enough in express. Had 20 mil turrets last set still got suicided on in the last few hours. One of those retal at all cost kinda players.

7m turrets was also enough, RussianRoulette is just a scumbag retard. In other words, what edfjr said. You just have to get an acceptable amount of d and hope no clowns come knocking. Sometimes they will, but that doesn't mean the d wasn't enough, it means there are clowns out there.

I hear you edfjr, people will do anything for a retal. Can't blame them really. But in this situation I had no retals due to me. Just one of those things, but really the random events that can take place are what makes the game interesting. I learned a few things this set
