A nuclear bomb nearly exploded in 1961 over North Carolina

this sounds like it was really a close call

i blame catholic liberals whom are soft on communism

there were dozens of close calls in that era.

that kinda happens when you have nuclear armed aircraft airborne 24/7 on alert.

they still havnt found a couple of bombs that were accidentally dropped...

oops.

on one of those dropped over NC, 3 of the 4 safety mechanism failed so that was close

The Air Force should be disqualified from handling Nuclear Weapons. Over the years, they have had more incidents than any other branch of the U.S. Military. The Navy has NEVER had a nuclear incident of any kind and they've been operating nuclear powered and armed ships for over 50 years.
