The last two sets, t10 has been 375 and 560, basically. The land changes have hurt, but they seem to have been lightened a bit with the building costs being down a bit. I think it'll be a modest gain, but not where it was a couple sets ago.

Is there like a rule of thumb for a relation between stock amount and NW? Like does 1billion stocked ~ 500million NW or whatever?

if you have reasonable mil tech, and PM destock, its around $259-262 per NW. roughly.

pretty sure he jumped like that in his KSM days too. he sells stock before food drops and buys military before skyrockets.

That depends on several things, but specifically, how many tanks can you buy at the absolute cheapest price based to the market value of your stockpile.

I use tanks because they have the highest NW/Cost ratio. Followed by Troops, jets and Turrets. However, That is also dependent on several factors.

The easiest thing to do is to assume that you are buying out your Private Market with every dollar you have.

If you divide the value of your stockpile (be it cash or bushels) by the Private Market price of tanks in any of your countries, that will tell you how many tanks you can buy at that moment with your available money.

Multiply THAT by 1.95 and that will give you your estimated finishing NW.

So to formulize it, TNW = ((Vs/Ct) * 1.95)

Where

1)Vs = Dollar value of your stockpile
2)Ct = Private Market tank cost.

That doesn't take into consideration how much food you will need to buy to continue to cash your turns until you jump so high that food + cash/turn = 0, nor does it take into consideration fluctuations in market prices or reselling profit margins.

and if most people havnt started destocking yet, they arnt going to just be able to buy just tanks anyways.

I understand the nw/unit ratios. Cause right now in my private market it is better to buy troops than tanks, troops = $246/Nw while tanks are $250.5/NW. But of course that doesnt take into consideration private market running out, public market costs, etc... I was just wondering if there was a general rule of thumb for stock to NW.

If you want to do a rough calculation it would be ~3.8m nw for every $1 billion in cash. So, lets say you have 6.6 billion bushels stocked, and you sell them at $36. That is equal to about $237b in cash. Your country would finish about $900 million + your current networth.

That's a good way of doing it with smaller countries.

When you're talking about 900M networth countries though, you're very likely going to be destocking on public a lot, and I think it's tough to say you're going to be averaging $265 per point of networth when you're destocking on public at end of set.

And that would be why. The 300k NBK country can probably plan on 260/NW or so. If you're sitting at less than 100k acres, it's not terribly realistic.

Regardless, it's always a learning experience. I've learned a lot about both playing the market and how to best destock the three times I've made a push into the t10.

I decided against going for a t10 this set, but I'm sure I could've been much more successful this set than last because of lessons learned. You'll be the same way if you get another chance to netgain for a full set. Of course, if you stay with NBK, I'd be curious if that happens. Two peaceful sets in a row for NBK. I'd be a bit shocked if they go 3.

im aqua, and im pretty solo right now. i think a CC member snagged my tech 2 times, and it wasnt much. now, im not saying ill fly solo the rest of the set, but i suck at netting and i got a 710mill NW country solo so far with more than a week left.

not spent, but man my cash button sure is broken right now, I should have waited about 2 or 3 more days.

I swapped over to NBK to kill some things. but it has been too quiet. I have thoughts about coming back to Pan, but Papa makes the coolest medals.

I jumped to soon aswell, but i have never netted in FFA before so like Twain says there is much to learn... Next time ill do better. Im not done yet though.. Got some cash left ;)
