See, I find both Manziel and Saban annoying, but I figure Manziel's just a stupid kid.

Saban's got no excuse. Go A&M. And after A&M (hopefully) beats Alabama, may they choke the following week and lose, too.

Overturned at the booth for no call but the 15 yard penalty stands?

Personal foul was sound. Helmet to helmet.

He was initially ejected for targeting with the personal foul. The booth over turned the ejection. Not the call

loved bama when the bear was there.Saban is a jerk.years ago bama was having a homecoming rally and everyone ask the bear to speak.He got up and said 3 words "sex and detergent". left the stand saying nothing more.After rally everyone ask the foorball team what did he mean Team told them "Dont F**k with the Tide". This is a true story

bstrong the personal foul was that he targeted the player.... even the refs admit there was no foul after it was reviewed but somehow the team is still penalized for a great play and bad reffing... that was obvious even live it wasnt a dirty shot

No, the foul wasnt for targeting. It was for helmet to helmet, the initial ejection from the game was for 'targeting'

The booth over turned the ejection two minutes later after a review.

Same play, two calls. One over turned.

the call was
"personal foul #6 defense, targeting foul by rule #6 is disqualified the current play is under further review" and then after reviewed "it was not a targeting foul, however the 15 yard penalty will stay"

one terrible call (you cant even argue helmet to helmet..who does that with the side of their head?) one call over turned, but somehow the 15 yards still enforced

Because they error on the side of caution with bang bang plays, helmet to helmet gets called allll the time.

They will almost always make the call when in question. The targeting part of this play was because he looked then took what 3 steps then launched without looking again. Good call for the 15, good over turn of the ejection.

The rule does state that when in question it is a foul. I personally thought it wasnt a foul, but that was in a replay and in slow mo. It wasnt a blatant miss, from different angles it looked like helmet to helmet.

You can't over turn a flag through a replay. That's the rule. They do replay before ejecting players. Is this weird and kinda silly? Yeah but it is what it is. The flag did NOT stand because it was helmet to helmet. It stood because you can't overturn the call on the field for penalties.

Good game. Clearly one guy can't beat an entire team and that A&M defense might want to show up and at least pretend they're trying at some point this year.

what about that Bama defense? You can say one man cant beat a team but if I were Bama I would be a little worried they racked up so many yards and points. Sure Manziel is a special talent but how are they going to do against teams with good offenses and better defenses (i.e. Georgia, LSU, heck, South Carolina, heck even Oregon or Ohio State if they play them).

No matter what he said, it was a revenge game and emotions were high. I think they'll be ok ;)
