But it was actually a profitable hit for him, because he captured $220,000,000 stock in the attack. My fighting back makes it not profitable anymore.

With all the other top people being hit and doing nothing, the message is also being sent out that it's open season on topfeeding or late retaling top countries at the end of sets. It looks consequence-free and accepted. Me fighting back sends a different message.

60+ missiles in total, he fired about 32 with 80 turns. and 30+ remaining but probably all diffused by now.

He should not have wasted those turns on those EMs.

I defused 1, then decided not to bother. I thought I would get 5 in one shot or something. My defense was 16m turrets, after weapons science and Republic penalty 20m turrets, def allies doubling it to 40m.

I don't think you can defuse more than 3 missiles at a time (one of each type), but I'm uncertain on this, I don't generally use spy ops on alliance as a warring techer heh, need to tech turns!

I know I've gotten them at least 3 at a time before, didn't consider it might be a "one of each" thing and thought it was just based on how many missiles they had.

you can not sabo more then one of each type of missile per sabotage.

Well, I'll take top 50 or so, I really wanted to finish high enough to see everybody from 1 down. It probably will not happen, but it is close enough.

Thinking of playing a all explore super low key Republic casher, or war monger Dictatorship techer.

Rep cash all explore can get you a decent finish and is probably pretty safe. I think it rules out finishing in the top 30 or so, though. Dict techer is an okay strat, but dict is a difficult gov type to play. And by war monger if you mean a lot of grabbing, sure, but if you mean actually getting dirty, techers aren't that good at war because they produce nothing while attacking.

Trust me blid, from someone who used to (actually I still do) love doing this, you did exactly what he hoped someone would do given that he had 60 missiles. It's a very fulfilling feeling unloading a crap ton of missiles on a top 10 country.

I guarantee he didn't calculate how profitable it would be to retal at that time nor did he care. To him it was all about the amt of carnage he could do to a country, especially a top 10 country.

Good for him. And I did what I wanted to when someone retals me 30 days late a week into my stocking period. If I cared about his missile stockpile I wouldn't have fought back in the first place.

Chewi missed both the food peaks, while I caught both. I initiated the first food crash about 2 hours after Gogy grabbed BobbyATA in anticipation of Bobby dumping food to retal.

Tech prices are great, but it still wasn't as good as the 135m OneMansArmy reset.

eManny(?) (Baluba) prevented me from a 120m finish by buying about 26m units at 195/NW just 3 hours before my food sold - but the consequence is that he could have finished in top 10 if he had just cashed until the last day of the reset and cashed on lowered expenses and jumped from private market, instead of jumping 5 days early off public.

Kudo's to me...my first top 25 finish!
