takes absolutely no talent to go all jets and hit someone with 200 turns on hand who can and will retal.

i really think it's about time we impose some sort of topfeeding rule, so many of the top players are fed up with this as well

also this topfeeder who had used all turns to make the hit on me, is now out of turns and playing each turn as it comes, cashing it, and buying up military to out run me, ololol. he's going up about 8k nw every 4 minutes lol.

he could cash all the turns in the world and i'd still be able to retal.
these n00bs just dont get it

Hey guys..I got hit by someone bigger than I earlier because I had sold some goods. When I checked him out, he had 5:1 jets/turrets. At that point, I already had enough to break, but didn't want to do it from my cell phone and screw up a number. So when I retal, should it be one of you :) please don't call me a topfeeding scum.

This is why I have this server on boycott since 1.6 years ago. It's a problem unique to this server due to the short reset time, and changes have been proposed (by the admins themselves even) but never implemented.

i agree the dr abuse is bad news.
but ultimately:

we have a big dr abuser (someone who actually knows how to exploit it and can play well enough to make some substantial grabs) maybe once every 3-4 resets.

those players make 30-40 hits tops, so that's about 1/5 to 1/4 of the field they will hit.

so the likelihood of a dr abuser actually ruining someone's express set is much lower than you'd really think, xin. i know you don't care either way :p but i'm just saying.
play it and you will really only have trouble with a dr abuser once in every 10 resets.

and anytime it's really bad the mods have been deleting. that's another significant change from the past.

Never understood the topfeeding Whine. Its ok for a person to run a strat that grows by feeding on all those that run a stocking strat., but its not ok for the stocking strat guy to sell his stock and feed on those that been hitting people the whole set unless it was a retal. WHINERS

topfeeding is bs because the victim does not have fair opportunity to recoup his land in 1 retal.
bottomfeeding is completely fine because the victim has opportunity to not only recoup his land lost, but in many cases to recoup more than 1000% of land lost!!!

so it is completely fair.

at the time not only did i have 220 turns on hand, i had the MOST defense in the game by over 4 m turrets (was 12m at the time).

in that case i very much, quantifiably, deserved my land bro. but i agree in certain cases fatties are asking for it.

The only reason why it wouldn't work is due to the 24 hour DR, which should really be 2 hours long only if it was changed to 1/4 - 4x. This would also solve the DR abuse issue, the main reason why I have this server on boycott.
