I am looking to buy tickets to the buffalo show and with all these dumb ass presales, I guess the best tickets will be snapped up by "fan club members"

tickets aren't that important or i would join the club...

these forums usually come through for me.

for example in college i found out two girls from my highschool swim team were on a local nudie web site.. and sure enough bam an earth player had an account with the site's parent company and bam! got to see what all the hype was about first hand for free!

ya, the idea of a fan club is something reserved for middle school and high school girls

the only reason I can see to join a fan club is for ticket presales, so you are basically paying a premium to get tickets earlier

Paying a premium to get tickets earlier to one show a year if you're lucky....and I'mma guess Green Day doesn't come through Buffalo on an annual basis.

I'd say join your local rock (is Green Day even still considered rock?) radio station's listener club. Usually they can get you the best tickets early. If not.....

Craigslist.org solves all problems.

eh they've come through on every US tour. I've gone to every show since their first dookie show. the problem is big companies join fan clubs and buy all the good seats and then sell them at a huge premium.

Go see Moving Mountains in buffalo on the 1st, I might drive 4 hours for it.

Whenever I need a pre-sale password. I google it. It works 80% of the time :)
