I should start one too then.

LATC and h2orich, 3tpt is fine, I will give you research alliances, but only if you are actually teching

What's wrong with techers nowadays. The tech prices for INDY IS SO HIGH and yet I SEE folks selling other tech.

Have you seen the market volume though? 5x as much Bus/Res (each) is sold than Indy, so bus/res is a more stable product (less price swings).

Even so, they should be selling more indy tech than they are. I think part of the reason so little is selling is probably because its avg price is $4200?

Its probably because indy tech doesn't help a techer in the early phase.. they're better off having some res/ent to help finance growth early on compared to selling just a few indy tech/day

Not very true. having 120% bus/res and 150% bus/res does not really help much in ur cash flow if you are a techer since you do not have
ent/res buildings or any income bonuses. Selling indy tech for $1000 more / point is much more beneficial.

Indy tech helps techers. Less indy regions = better TPT, higher indy efficiency = better SPAL. THINK ABOUT IT

Bare in mind that 80% of the indy tech selling is mine, so "lower volume of sale" does not apply in this case :)

I have bus and res tech just because I like seeing green $$ per turn lol. plus its silly to have all tech in one field due to diminishing returns.

All my cash is on standing orders, waiting for a desperate commie to bump my NW up to rank 1 once again because they have to destock due to ridiculous expenses per turn caused by all that extra +indy% I fed them.

That's why I'm sitting way down at rank 5. It's an optical illusion, you see.

Just doing some quick math, past 24 hours: 43,599 indy tech sold at $4231 average price if volume sold is increased by 40% or 17439 point tech point, the average price assuming there is no increase buying will be $3022, which is still more profit that the res/business tech.
The importance of bus and res is mis-understood for techers. Most techers have too many % in bus and res than needed. Increased indy tech INDY production = less IC = more lab = more tpt. Think about it :)

First of all, it's "Bear" not "Bare". Second, thanks for letting me know about your cash pile - the free cash/tech will come in handy.

Indies can benefit from avoiding stupid Indy prices for the first while and buy the other techs they need like bus/res, and weapons. Weapons is nice and cheap and very beneficial to have while grabbing. Indy tech will level off very soon as it always does, and we'll keep on growing as we always do. This is no different than any other round.

I lost one of my tech allies. I am teching about a 1000 per turn. Send me an alliance for research if interested. I should be teching for at east a week or more before switching to cashier. When tech drops far enough it will be more profitable to just cash.
