your having to google what an infinitive is, i think, says more than enough. and further, english today being so bastardized and people not knowing how to speak it, doesn't make it not a real rule*. i g2g, btw, afk for 1 sec. ttyl. l8s.

and, in regards to your second point.. i'm guessing you still don't know what one is, or where you went about splitting it?

*we all should go back to speaking latin :P

English IS my first (and only fluent) language, but I accept your apology anyway, HAHA! What I meant was I was taking a French course in college and the professor had to explain English grammar to me, because apparently I had never learned the god damn terminology (thanks public school!).

yea I was gonna ask then why you were never taught infinitive in school. they would have taught you proper nouns, etc?
I had to teach myself english for the most part too. thank you tdsb
