set ain't over yet, last set theo reseller won (mostly thx to 97k acres) and demo was 2nd (with 27k acres less), top 10 was mostly theos and demos except 2 commies.

demo with maxed mil tech can make fluffload money if gets millions of 35 bucks bushels due priv. sell price is 36 for bushels.

last set's top country was fasc farmer to theo reseller (prolly no mil bases), 2nd was dict (farmer prolly) to demo reseller, last who got over 200m nw was tyr farmer to demo farmer/reseller.

key is to get alot land as early as possible.

Just wondering here... why would a theo reseller have no military bases? Wouldn't he have a much greater profit margin with military bases?

I don't claim to know everything.. not by a long shot. But it seems to me that if someone is going Theo and reselling military units, it'd be a no-brainer that he should have military bases. Or was the country at issue so big that the expense of rebuilding would outweigh the extra profits from lower private market prices?

What you said. Country size too big, so it costs too much to rebuild. During the rebuilding process, you start to earn less and less too, so your remainder turns until end of reset when you are fully converted, your income is 0.

MBs as a building type, doesn't produce any income by itself unlike the others.

yea it would cost alot and take alot time unless has very high bpt like 300+ and even with that bpt 100k acres building up it would require over 300 turns to build that up so it would require several days turns.

Don't need either one if you've got skill.

I think I got closer to 200m nw with an explorer than anyone else under the old rules (I made 188m nw and rank 16). With these new explore gains, 200m nw as an explorer is definitely attainable, as long as the food market and tech markets are reasonably similar to what they were like every set before landtrading farmers started to take away the food peak.
