on a side note we have this guy at BJJ from romania, and he use to go really easy on me cause he was much better than me, i didnt like that, so i called him a gypsy one day as a joke, and man did he smash me, it was awesome!!!

This is what I heard though the grapvine.
"gyp" is thought to be short for "Gypsy."
