if you are intending to run an indy, stick to just industrial complexes and do not get any other buildings. Your country should just have industrial complexes and construction sites to build industrial complexes.

At the end of your turns everyday, sell military on the public market to fund your next day's turns. Buy up industrial technology with spare cash. You can either choose to explore for land or try to attack someone for land.
