ESD,u really going to quit because u lost a little self farmed land?

in all seriousness, like 150k matters that's 1/2 a round of self farming at your point in farming.

get defense. its a war game. if the game was meant to have 0 attacking, it would not be allowed.

please grab a tissue and continue to play.

it wont be the last time it happens by any means.

then farmers would make subtags, there is no way to stop farming cause there are ways to bypass it for example via landtrading.

As Warster implied, this argument's pretty old. And as Marshal stated, there'd be ways around it if all you did was ban hitting your own tag/own 16.

If you want self-farming to go away, petition the creators to get rid of ghost acres. Then people could transfer land, but they wouldn't actually generate land from self-farming.

As long as the math of the game dictates that self-farming is more beneficial than external land grabbing or exploring, people are going to do it.

Self farming was illegal over 10 years ago. I come back and thats all anyone does.. self farming is not playing the game right. Everyone does it so I cant say anything.. its dirty I can tell you that. I am not impressed by self farmers at all.

its safest and best way to get land and many had landfarms in mehul's ffa but they ran those as untagged.

what strategy? i would have thought republic farmer would be best suited for all X, but I've never given it a try. i agree though that techer has the possibility of a good market. whereas a farmer is mostly market independent.

yea 1a set was great for techers since prices stayed up quite long and didn't do huge drop until last weekend, at best I got ~700m daily from techsales (which was fluffty during high bushels price) and as all-x tpt wasn't as high as it was on grabbing techers.

His point is that 150 mil in 1a is possible due to the extra 360 turns available ( 300-330 if you remove the days you are destocking) compared to what you could do here in ffa. But its pointless agruement as 150 mil won't make top 100 here

LOL, Hard to believe killers or netters would want less turns so I'm sure not all FFA players wanted it removed. LOL, sounds more like something 1A players playing in the FFA server would want.

LOL, Compairing a 1A country to an all-X ffa country is what was being talked about but your right they are 2 very different places. Either way like I said a long time ago the only way compete as far as netting goes in the ffa is to land trade. no matter how well played and how lucky or good of a set it is for a given strat an all-x in the FFA just can't come close to even a poorly played land trading country.

I should hit 180m with an explorer. I got hit while stocking and did 2:1 retals, but the asshole took 500m cash and 5.3m bushels from me in the grab, and I had to rebuild the land I took in the retal at just 60 bpt. I did the math, and because of the land I gained from retalling, I gained about 5m networth to my finish.

I probably would have gotten about 177m or 178m with an all-explore, but now I'm going to hit 182m or 183m with a mostly explore.

Actually, I just recalculated. I fluffed up my last resell, selling at $240/nw, right before the market jumped to $260/nw.

It looks like I'm gonna hit 188m networth. If I hadn't messed up that resell, I'd have about 5m more networth, or about 193m finishing networth.

Some asshole in Evo stockhunting me is going to cost me the all-explore record. I would have been the first all-explore to get over 180m networth, but instead, I'm an explorer that did 2 retals on a guy who stockhunted a 11k acre 4.9m networth explorer that hadn't grown for 8 days.

As always, Evo gives me plenty of reason to hate those assholes.
