I'm #121, came back for a set and just fooled around as an all-explore CI until #20 came knocking on the door. So I decided to trade hits with him just for fun instead of levelling him which I could have since I had 360 turns when he RoR and had only 30k tanks. Somehow, I still managed to add another top10 to my account =P

Also, the 2 rounds which I came back after quitting (Round 146 and this last round) had some really high ending NW.

It was a pretty good indy round. Almost had some problems with last minute sales again though

28K acres, WHO T F gets that in express.

I can't get more then 10K and even then I lose 2k to gdi jets every F'n set.

14-16k is the max acres I can get without getting nuked/chemed/ab'd to hell.

looks like we need to run a couple extra land farms like the other clowns around here.

you don't need landfarms to get to 28k land. You can do it without even double tapping.

I did not cheat and run multiple land farms: I only grabbed #135 and #44 more than once.

#135 was an early risk, but he was rainbow in units and buildings and tech throughout.
#44 was hit already multiple times by #150 before me, plus had run most turns without any warfare tech.

I just had to keep some more tanks and I'd likely be safe (though there is always a risk).

Also as blid pointed out, no need to double tap, I only gained about ~1.5k land from multi-tapping.

28k is totally reasonable. All the times I did 27-33k or so with similar (but slightly lower NW) I didn't double tap until about 10 hrs left in the set unless a country looked extremely low risk.

ALthough farming countries with only a handful of hrs left came back to bite me in the ass once or twice.

Anyways congrats on your record, I'm gonna to make some attempts to take that back from you soon.
